About FoodFuse

FoodFuse was inspired from a visit to a high-rise apartment in Auckland, New Zealand. After discovering that the only option for food waste was the landfill bin, we knew that something needed to change. We immediately got to work designing compact biogas converters, turning organic waste into energy and compost.

OUR MISSION

Redefining the way we are sustainable

It's time for something new. Gone are the days when we can act environmentally irresponsible and expect the next generation to pick up the slack. We need solutions that the everyday citizen can use to reduce emissions.

 

That's what FoodFuse is about: giving power back to the people (metaphorically and literally). Our vision is to give people an easy, convenient, and rewarding way to contribute towards reducing a major under-publicised emitter: food waste.

WINNER OF THE UC ENTRE NAPKIN CHALLENGE

As the winner of the 2022 UC Entre Napkin Challenge, FoodFuse was immediately accepted through to the UC Entre 85k Enterprise Launch Challenge set to begin in July 2022.

Meet the Team

FoodFuse is a small business established in Christchurch, New Zealand, by

Lin Li Yeoh and Rohan Mathias. Although currently a two-person team, we are always looking for unorthodox thinkers keen to change the game.
